Active Listening Assignment

Find one person who is willing to do a practice session with you. Download 00 Practice 1 – Empathtic Listening for the Rubric on how you will be graded and to take down some notes. Complete the following exercise (see practice handout) and send me your audio file via email. Keep it 3-4minutes. You will lose marks for recordings over 5 mins.

Exercise:

Ask your practice person: “Please tell me in one sentence how you feel about doing a life coaching practice with me and what would be the first goal you would want to work on if this was real?”
